One of the most important common denominators of back pain is restriction in the pelvis and legs. A great deal of difficulty in our upright posture and yoga practice is related to the SEAT…. And the yoga word for posture, or “asana” literally means to “take a seat”.
In this 60 minute class, we will delve deeply into repetitive and progressive hip and hamstring openers, and "Unlock" deep-seated restrictive tension in your hips and legs to create healthy upright posture, alleviate back pain, and keep your body supple and stable.
The movements learned in this Linda Kay's Seminar Series will compliment your current yoga practice and help make other physical activities more accessible.
All ages and skill levels are welcome, from beginners to athletes, and experienced yoga practitioners.
Linda Kay, ERYT-500, RYS has taught yoga locally for over 34 years, and specializes in an alignment based Hatha tradition… and is a dedicated Bikram practitioner!
